Silenced Brilliance

Maybe I’m not meant for the simple and beautiful things in Life.

Perhaps I’m paying for the sins I never committed,

Maybe this is how it was determined to be,

While fighting the entire world, ideologies,

I found myself secluded,

Secluded from Love, Happiness, and Warmth,

Is it too much to ask for?

Or Was I not worthy enough?

As accolades and laurels amass, the thrill of their acquisition seems to wane within me,

Upon retrospection, a myriad of possibilities unfolds before me,

A tapestry woven with a thousand threads of potential happiness.

There are no “Wrongs” and “Rights” in this story,

It is the profound failure of a delicate equilibrium, akin to a collapsing bridge.

A Sacrificing Genius turns into Ashes When Responsibilities Eclipse Brilliance.
